USA Begins Biowarfare on Europe?

These days of course, we are all, every one of us, a so-called conspiracy theorist. That term used to mean you were a tin-foil hat wearing crazy who believed UFOs regularly abducted you for possible implantation of the Zeta Reticulan version of a cheap Taiwanese radio somewhere in your flesh. Anal probes were almost demanded rather than expected. And not wearing your tin-foil hat meant you kinda liked it and wanted it to happen more often.

But this was a brief period. Its height was between 1958 and 1963 really. Sometime after 1963 and the Kennedy assassination, anyone who actually used the laws of physics, rational observation, and demonstrable facts to investigate any of the many excesses of government (but particularly US government) became a “conspiracy theorist”. You didn’t “believe” that Oswald was the only lone gunman? Well you must be a Godless communist conspiracy theorist. And so it went. Shadows of the McCarthy hearings still strong on the tail of the 1963 murder of JFK. So here are some interesting facts for you. You may stock up on that tin foil before you begin reading though. For rough times

Because when the chips are down, sometimes, you just have to listen to the advice of a bushy eyebrowed fellow with an outstanding moustache.

There are times in life we all have to face difficulties. As I have lived my life in a non-conventional way, my ups have been great, soaring peaks, little experienced by common mortals. And my downs have been smouldering craters that hit bedrock. In such times, the practical aspects of survival are of course important. Pivotal even, yet I have found from personal experience, that the human condition also requires a certain strength of spirit. In such times, in other words, when the shit has really hit the fan and most of it is out of your control, some people turn to prayer. Personally I have found two poems to be of comfort. Here is one of them, a classic that is more well-known than the other. And just to keep it entertaining, I have added my own little commentary to it too. If you are going through some difficulties, I hope this helps a little.

An Insecure World

Last Saturday I went to have lunch at my friend Rob’s place and amongst other things we discussed computer security. Mostly as a result of the comments made by Dr. Michael Persinger at about minute 46 of his talk (see last week’s video entry on this blog).
Anyway, Rob sent me an enlightening e-mail today, which I will reproduce here in part witht he links he sent me. It makes for fascinating reading. Read more »

Telepathy – The Real Thing

If you only watch one youtube video this year, I think this should be it. Even if you completely ignore the stuff on remote viewing (I did mostly, because it’s too vague for me) the rest is still brilliant and amazing. Especially what he explains about Windows Operating System at minute 46 or so and the very last question too.

Overlords of Mars – Inception. Now in print too.

Now available in book format, not just kindle. Get yours HERE.

That’s right. It’s shameless self-promotion, but I’ll keep it short. So far I have had good reports from the first test subjects loyal readers. Apparently the subject matter is interesting enough to keep several of them up late at night to ponder it, and a few even write or call to ask me what I am putting in the next one. That of course would be telling, BUT, there will be a brief window of opportunity where you can get your name in one of the sequels, either as a bad or as a good guy. Obviously these are limited spots, so if you are interested in appearing as one of the characters in my novels, do let me know. The character may not look like you, but will have your name. In order to ensure you don’t give me someone else’s name, you do need to contact me for this as there are a few requirements I need to ensure are in place.

So…if you want to be a villain or a hero or heroine, send me an e-mail and let me know. I expect only a handful of such opportunities are available in the whole series, so do not wait. Some characters will be central to the story, so if you want your name in lights, act now pilgrim.

Let your friends know too.

Sayonara for now.

Red Mercury and the sinking of the Estonia

On 28 September 1994 sometime between midnight and 2 am, the MS Estonia, a ferry traveling from Tallin (Estonia), to Stockholm (Sweden) suddenly sank. The reasons for this have never been satisfactorily explained. The utter absurdity of the official explanations, which at one point was that the cargo doors had not been closed prior to casting off, was one of the reasons that so-called “conspiracy theories” sprung up. But by no means the main reason. Several important factual points make it clear that the sinking of this ferry was not just a mere accident. Now let me be the first to say that I hate the phrase “conspiracy theories”. It assumes an air of tin-foil-hat wearing crazies. We should more properly refer to the evidence as conspiracy facts. And facts lead to hypothesis, which until tested (factually) remain the best conclusion we can scientifically reach regarding the events in question. So let’s look at some of these facts.

Books Online

I am finding it fascinating to discover how the book publishing/sales/marketing world seems to work. It is quite an unexpected set of circumstances that seems to be helping sales of my book on Systema. Shortly after it reached number 36 on Amazon’s category for martial arts (which includes a whole bunch of fitness and diet books too so it’s actually a larger category than you would think), I blogged about it as I was quite surprised it had done so well given there had been essentially no marketing other than my mentioning the book on my blog and facebook page a few times.

These sales had been achieved almost exclusively by word of mouth, and the e-mails I receive regularly seem to bear this out too as people are finding the book very useful, which is gratifying. The interesting part is what followed shortly after this. Read more »

Nazi UFO

Overlords of Mars: Inception

Well, here it is ladies and gentlemen! My first SF Novel in print. Currently available on kindle for £2.06 in the UK and I think it’s $3.44 in the US. I actually wanted to release it for free on kindle as a promotion. I thought it was possible to do this as I have seen books sell for £0.00 on kindle and it’s how I was introduced to some fine writers, but when it came time to do the deed Amazon would not let me do this. I put it in at the lowest price they would permit and I hope a couple of bucks will not break your bank if you decide to give it a read. Read more »

Technical Errors…please stand by…

It seems comments are not working properly at the moment, one of the new updates, or possibly aliens or ninjas may be responsible. Please bear with us while we fix/zap/kill the relevant bug/grey/ninja. The contact form is fine though, so if you have any questions please e-mail instead for the next couple of days. This should be sorted soon. In other news, I will be announcing a new book release very soon. A novel this time.

On Book Sales

This will be a pretty self-indulgent post on the nature of book sales, specifically looking at my last book, Systema: The Russian Martial System, but it might be marginally useful for any aspiring writers who are curious about book sales.
