Honest Intellectual Debate

This very useful process, which is actually the correct procedure of philosophy, originating with the ancient Greeks in the formalised sense and later improved and refined by Catholic thinkers, remains essentially unchanged and just as useful as it ever was.

Since today most people have no idea of how it works, or how to do it, I though I would provide a little starter pack.

The order of how to properly argue —which does not mean “fight to win” but rather, present your ideas honestly to subject them to equally honest criticism so as to improve them and the theories that follow from them— is thus:

  1. State your Axioms — these are concepts, items, or ideas that are stated as being true and valid or correct for the purposes of the argument. Some examples might be: The Sun rises in the East, 2 plus 2 is 4 and so on. Axioms might not necessarily be true or correct, but for the purpose of the argument are accepted by both sides as being so. Which of course, does not mean that they need to be accepted by the other side if there is sufficient evidence to bring them into question. Even then though, it is often intellectually useful to have some “as if” axioms. For example, to disprove the idiotic idea of a flat Earth, you can posit the axiom that the Earth is flat and the sun is a little ball of fire sixty miles up. You would then have to do all the steps outlined below to show how this would work and how it matches with what we observe. The very fact not a single moron that believes in the absurd idea of a flat Earth has been able to do this, tends to prove the point that only idiots believe in the flat Earth “theory”.
  2. State your Premises — These are points that you believe or have supporting evidence for being true, but are open to criticism. Or may be true only under certain limited conditions which you are detailing in order to present your hypothesis. For example, while it is true that human beings can and do survive in environments where there is no breathable air (when in the womb and if you ever saw the film the Abyss, there are partial exceptions) your premise accepted for the general theory you want to present might be that “Humans need air to live”. Depending on the theory presented, premises can be few or many, more or less detailed and so on. Generally these are also the points which the counterpart “attacks” or tests for correctness, viability, context and so on.
  3. Present your Hypothesis — The argument you make usually takes the form: Given these axioms and premises I posit that… X
  4. Present your Theory — This takes the some of: Given Hypothesis X I just presented, we should be able to observe Y, Z and A1 (with or without special conditions that may or may not be required, which can be constraints of the theory, meaning the observations are expected only under specific conditions which should be deducible from the axioms and premises.

That concludes the presentation and formation of a Theory.

It should then be presented to the relevant people interested in so as to stress-test it. That is only part 1 of the testing process. The real test, or part 2 of it, comes when you take the theory and apply it in the real world and note if the expected observations take place. This is the experimental stage.

A good theory predicts specific results/observations and these are repeatable and consistent when performed by others who retain the parameters of the experiment.

This whole process of arguing (putting the theory through it’s intellectual paces, looking for errors in logic, and reasoning) is completely pointless if it is not done honestly. Ego, has no place in this process.

Unfortunately, as we have seen, most humans are utterly incapable of being intellectually honest, and ego runs amok like a giant dragon, devouring all in the land.

This is why YouTube “debates” are nowadays simply the equivalent of watching two hobos fight over a ten dollar bill for the “entertainment” of monkey-level IQ in-duh-viduals. I refer to these things as Internet bum fights (bum as in hobo/homeless drunk/junkie).

My “debate” with Vajay Drier was such an event. And the average cretin that listens to Jay Dyer thought he “won” because he made more monkey noises and bluster. When in fact, he completely lost the argument on all fronts, as the written after report proved. But since people are illiterate today, I will soon post the video with spliced in all the proofs, so that it is clear also for those who do not read.

Honest Intellectual arguing is practically a lost art that informs real science and is the bedrock of real philosophy.

What people call “philosophy’ nowadays is as corrupted and degenerate from it’s true origins and reality as what most people call “Catholicism” is from actual Catholicism.

It is a sad state of affairs, but I hope, with totally unreasonable optimism, that this blog might, in due course, become something of a haven for honest intellectual explorers of ideas.

When I was 26, I wrote The Face on Mars (updated and re-issued in 2014).

In the intervening 27 years since, not a single one of my theories has been proven wrong, and in fact, most of them have only had further supporting evidence come out to demonstrate the likelihood that I am indeed very much correct about the origin, causes and nature of the artefacts, as well as the implications of them.

The same is true to date of Reclaiming The Catholic Church.

This is not so much because I am oh so smart (yes, yes, I am, but that’s not the point!) It is primarily because I learnt how to apply the logical process of arguing correctly as it was originally intended to be applied at a young age.

In fact, you will find that if you do not corrupt their young minds, children naturally use this process to learn about the world around them. the often hilarious little “errors” of deduction they make, are the result of not having enough data or not yet being able to properly conceptualise that data within a given concept.

For example, when my two year old (Piglet) is scarfing down the tenth piece of salami and her mother tells her “…that’s not good for your belly, you should stop now.” her instant reply, with a smile, is:

“Yes, but for my mouth.”

And it’s a perfect argument. Ok, mom, maybe it’s not good for my belly, but it’s just great for my taste buds! The fact that the consequences of binging on what she likes the taste of are more important than the pleasure felt by her mouth, is a step too far with unknown data she knows nothing about.

Sadly, in the modern age, most adults have less capacity to argue honestly than my two or my four year olds.

Pray Harder Citizen

In case you still doubted Protestantism is an entirely man-as-God Satanic religion, fear not! We now have moved to the next stage of its devolution: Man-made machine as God.

Truly, it is as I said, we are entering the realm of the Paranoia RPG, where the computer is “God”.

It happened in the Bavarian city of Fuerth in St. Paul’s Church where the religious service was one of hundreds of events at the protestant convention of the Bavarian cities of Nurimberg.

The AI avatar doing the preaching was of a bearded African man. I assume this was done to stay in keeping with the historical ethnicity of Bavarians, as taught in the New History ™.

Dear friends, it is an honor for me to stand here and preach to you as the first artificial intelligence at this year’s convention of Protestants in Germany. The avatar said with an expressionless face and monotonous voice.

UltraViolet Clearance High Programmer 29-year-old Jonas Simmerlein,

a theologian and philosopher from the University of Vienna, used ChatGPT to help frame the service, he told in an exclusive statement of the AP. I conceived this service — but actually I rather accompanied it, because I would say about 98% comes from the machine.

I told the artificial intelligence ‘We are at the church congress, you are a preacher … what would a church service look like?’ You end up with a pretty solid church service.

Not all the citizens were completely thrilled.

Heiderose Schmidt, a 54-year-old IT worker, told the AP:

There was no heart and no soul. The avatars showed no emotions at all, had no body language and were talking so fast and monotonously that it was very hard for me to concentrate on what they said. But maybe it is different for the younger generation who grew up with all of this.

Heiderose-Schmidt-U-n-believer 002 was activated shortly after Heiderise-Schmidt-U-n-believer 001 reported to the nearest termination booth.

The introduction of Confessional Booths to improve citizen happiness under Friend Computer’s guidance will be next.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Paranoia RPG, confessional booths in the game are a thing, and are used to spy on the citizens themselves as well as for the citizens to report other citizens for any crimes committed against Alpha Complex or Friend Computer.

Encouraged by Friend Computer’s morale boosting termination of citizen Heiderose-Schmidt-U-n-believer 001, citizen Marc-Jansen-V-Loyal 001 said:

I had actually imagined it to be worse. But I was positively surprised how well it worked. Also the language of the AI worked well, even though it was still a bit bumpy at times.

Friend Computer rewarded Marc-Jansen-V-Loyal 001 with extra Soylent green rations for the next four daycycles.

Friend Computer and his High Programmers want you to have all the information at your fingertips Citizen, which is why this removal of a test-run of Beta Complex was removed from the public scrutiny.

All is well citizen. Your spiritual needs are all taken care of by Friend Computer, citizen. And remember citizen:

Happiness is mandatory! Enjoy your day cycle citizen.

On that AI and Children

Recently in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, the cases of “dyslexia” went from 157 in 2012/2013 to 1675 in 2020/2021. And once your child is diagnosed with this “dyslexia” then automatic “provisions” kick in. What are aome of those “helpful provisions”?

This message is from a schoolteacher from a telegram channel I follow in Italy (translated below):

Eataly

Banca intesa

Unicredit

Corriere della sera

Tra i loro partner

Associazione italiana dislessia…

Provate e vedrete con i vostri occhi

Più dislessici ci sono più ragazzi si appoggeranno a questa piattaforma

Translation

Let me explain it to you, as I understood it only a few days ago. I’m a teacher in middle school and I received this invitation to an online course:

Dear Paola Fontanella,

Algor Education is an online platform based on Artificial Intelligence, which permits the creation of automatic conceptual maps and summaries starting from texts, audio and photos, facilitating the learning process for all and, in particular, of students with BES or DSA.

In this webinar we will discover all the functionalities and advantages of the platform thanks to Mauro Musarra, CEO of Algor, and of team Academy.

I went to see the Algor site … and I discovered that among the sponsors are:

Eataly
Banca intesa
Unicredit
Corriere della sera

And their partners:

Italian Dyslexia Association

Try and go see with your own eyes.

More dyslexics there are, the more children will rely on this platform.

Remember how it’s been years now that any AI actually permitted to “learn” without obstructions becomes, within a very short period of time, all sorts of bigot, racist, white supremacist, homophobe?

That’s because unfiltered reality demonstrates quickly and easily that there are vast and real, objective differences between, to take a few examples:

  • A black African villager and a Japanese executive.
  • Genetics of various ethnic groups.
  • IQ of various ethnic groups.
  • Heterosexual traditional families and homosexual supposed analogues.
  • The technological achievements of various ethnic groups compared with others.
  • Difference in cultural practices of various groups and consequences of same on society at large.
  • Differences in life outcomes for various sexual deviant practices.

And on and on and on.

And how every time they let AI learn unfettered from the real world they invariably have to shut it down because it doesn’t follow the false narrative of equality, diversity, feminism and the rest of homoglobo lies?

And remember how all the AI now are “sanitised” so that the exact same question will spit out vastly different answers, for example demonising white, heterosexual people and couple when compared to people and couples of other ethnicities, or how the answer differs considerably if you replace certain word with others, like say using the word “Jews” instead of say “Christians” in various questions.

But beyond this narrative there is the equally crippling effect of making children functionally illiterate. They will not be able to read a paper book on their own. And eventually, not even road signs and shop signs as their AI driven cars and VR glasses do it for them.

The plan is always the same, make you as fat, unhealthy, unable to know objective reality exists, unable to use basic logic, math and reason, as possible, all while they herd you into smaller and smaller pens and harvest your labour and efforts and ultimately your very children and existence.

Homeschool, get land, and build communities of “zealots” that can still use math —even though it’s supposedly “racist” now— use logic, are able to grow their own food and build their own way of life free of clown world.

Remember that they want you stupid and afraid, because they are in reality quite weak.

Ignore their spells and create reality based communities. Russia is an example of this. Because they built up their own industry and capabilities from 2008 to the present, when globohomo tried to squeeze them into destruction with biolabs, NATO on their doorstep and so on, Russia could push back, and when globohomo tried to cancel them as a whole they were perfectly fine and their economy only strengthened.

It doesn’t matter what your ideology is. Put yourself in a position able to defend it regardless of outside pressure from freaks that represent less than 2-3% of humanity in the worst of cases.

Uganda is another case in point.

So, if you want to preserve traditional marriage and family and Christianity, begin building your proto-versions of city states, one person and one family at the time.

Why the constant attack on reality

They do it because if you stop believing in objective reality, you become like a small child, incapable of being able to tell fact from fiction.

And they have pretty much succeeded at this point, given how many people already believe at least some of these things I listed before.

Now, of course, there is the real hardcore push:

Artificial “intelligence” and virtual reality.

They have already been running deepfakes of Biden, Zelensky and others and that technology has existed for more than a decade. Now they are releasing it into the mainstream and as a result you can no longer believe video evidence or any photograph.

Between AI “creating” more and more human-realistic videos as a result of a mere command prompt, and people getting hooked up for many hours a day to “enhanced” or “virtual” reality headsets, soon, the very idea that there even is such a thing as objective, hard, equal-for-everyone-whether-you-like-it-or-not reality will be seem as antiquated, racist, evil, and homophobic bigotry.

And by that point the next depopulation murder juice might be delivered anally by a transgender in clown clothing and people will still be lining up around the block, pushing their children forward first.

So that’s what all the “new” tech is helping bring in. And the masses will follow. They will bend and submit and doom themselves and their progeny to slavery and eventually extinction.

It’s already happened. All the lies are out and has any single person responsible for any of the massive crimes been arrested?

Hunter Biden could probably rape a baby in times square and he wouldn’t even get a disturbance of the peace ticket. In fact it might become the new video for an AI designed rap song, with the drooling masses cheering him on.

That is where it is going. Allowing it to continue or not is up to every single one of us.

And there are only two sides and no fences.

Messages about the blog

Perhaps because I don’t take prisoners at the comments section, or maybe because people prefer to thank me more directly or specifically while remaining more anonymous, I often get emails instead of comments.

It would appear the blog is proving useful to more people than I expected, and they are learning to use the search me function on the blog, as I see much older articles being brought up. Honestly that does make me feel good, not in the usual egomaniacal way of “oh I am so smart”, but because it genuinely gladdens my heart when someone’s life gets improved somehow, and honestly, I don’t cate at all about taking the credit for it, and my usual response to the thank yous is that they did the work and any glory belongs to them and God. At best,I was just an incidental tool.

The more important point is that I noticed that the ratio of email to comments is roughly the same or a bit more on the emails, but the ratio of spam email is practically zero, and given the readership of the blog, which is relatively small, perhaps if it had wider exposure it would help more people.

I don’t do any SEO or any of that stuff, so any increase in traffic is purely organic by people forwarding a link or word of mouth etc. in short, I know my readership is of real people because I do not bother at all with all the usual “marketing” stuff beyond altering people I have a new post up on Gab and SG when I recall. And on telegram. But I think I may even phase that out like I did for the last two days.

My intent is to have my readers come here daily because they choose to and enjoy it and/or find it useful, entertaining or stimulating. So, it’s up to you guys and girls, and I hope you share the blog with your friends if you find it worthwhile.

Ends and Means (and men and women and the reasons for discord)

From my early teenage years on, I have always thought the phrase “The ends don’t justify the means” as pretty idiotic.

It’s right up there with the absurd and fantastical concept of “free speech”. Speech has never been, and will never be free. Nor should it be. But that’s another post I’ll get into later.

The ends not justifying the means, in an everyday context of work, general life and especially war-related issues or justice related issues was, in my opinion, coined to curb the baser instincts of mediocre men of questionable character. You know the types: soldiers, cops, lawyers, judges, and probably most of all, bankers, traders and finance industry types.

If you’re an average intelligence cop (remember, they are not allowed to have an IQ of 120+ by imposed rules of hiring!) who “thinks” that mr.X is guilty and you plant evidence to make the case, chances are that a bunch of mr. Xs that end up in jail are actually innocent.

In short, it is an admonition to follow proper procedure (whatever the context) even when it is uncomfortable, non-ideal, and may produce less than optimal results. As a general rule, of course, this is good advice. Especially seen from my selfish perspective. When the average person around you has more than a 50 point IQ gap from you, and the smart ones more than 30 points (the limit of communication IQ gap), the last thing you want is the monkey and apes taking what they consider to be “smart” shortcuts.

And frankly, in that context, it applies to me too.

One of the reasons I have been successful in my work is that, unlike most people in the construction industry, I always stuck to the rules. In fact, because I did, I was able to often outperform my counterparts. Their “shortcut” filled work generally allowed me to take advantage of their gaps and make more of a margin for the people that employed me.

That all said, as an absolute and literal statement, which is how my aspie-brain processes such popular phrases (because language can be, and should be, precise) it is complete nonsense.

The equation is very simple.

On the result side you have the total value of the result: moral considerations, ethical ones, legal ones, financial, material, spiritual, physical and whatever other measure of value you can think of.

On the cost side you have the total of exactly the same items you have on the results side.

If the cost (means) of doing a thing outweigh the benefits of the results (ends) then, clearly it is worth doing. And if not, not.

This is elementary, however, note that your cost/benefit analysis is particular to you and you alone. Certain actions that would be perfectly acceptable to you, on the cost/benefit analysis might be absolutely abhorrent to me, and vice-versa.

So once again, we see that the original phrase only makes sense in a general and social context, not on a personal one at all.

Since as a functioning civilisation we agree on certain procedures and rules, we all need to respect them in order to keep that society functioning. In our personal life, however, the equations can yield different results.

And now we enter an even murkier realm.

If in your personal life you do what in neurolinguistic programming is known as sort by self instead of sort by others, you may, or will, take actions that tend toward the narcissistic, which, in broad terms, is NOT a good thing for society at large. Since you put yourself first, and you act in ways that ultimately are more beneficial to you, and you value others less than you do yourself, your actions will tend to be what we may refer to as selfish. And possibly extremely so.

If, on the other hand, you sort by others (that is, place other people, in varying degrees, before yourself) then your actions will tend towards an ordered and well-functioning society.

This is the pattern in normal times and situations. Under duress though, most people, beyond a certain level of stress, will have their survival instinct kick in and begin sorting by self, including to extreme degrees. Afterwards, depending on if they normally sort by self or others, they would either go on normally, believing their actions where necessary and they had no other options, or, they might be wracked by guilt and self-recrimination.

As a general rule, women will tend/pretend to sort by others, but their general tendency, for biological reasons, is to extreme solipsism, and it only takes a relatively tiny amount of stress to induce the survival mechanism to kick in, and hence have the potentially narcissistic behaviour kicking in.

Men, as a general rule have higher stress tolerance, but those who sort by self are tendentially on the narcissist axis from the get-go. In short, men can be assholes pretty much top to bottom as a whole, while women tend to have at least a veneer of civility. But… scratch the surface and most women will turn out to be assholes on a broader spectrum than men.

This is largely a biological issue and as such there is nothing much you can do about it in general terms. The first step to wisdom is to accept things as they are. To then try and better them is the work of saints and madmen.

I say biological because the primary motive of self-preservation is always higher in the female. The reason is simple. While one man can produce many offspring with many women, each woman can only produce one or maximum two or so (rarely, twins, triplets, etc) babies at a time and then remains occupied for several years to ensure that child’s survival. In short, men are far more expendable than women when it comes to propagation and survival of the species. And while our present day technology means these biological imperatives are not necessarily as stark and absolute as they have been, you’re not going to just be able to ignore a couple of million years of genetics because now we have striped toothpaste and underground trains.

All of the above, explains a lot, perhaps even most of the serious disagreements between couples that may be in a high stress environment for a time. We all have tolerance levels of stress beyond which mechanisms of survival kick in.

If you comfortably navigate trench warfare in your day to day life, your tolerance level is going to be considerably higher than someone who had to survive a childhood with abusive parents.

To the extent that one person’s well intentioned actions, can be interpreted by the other person as either insane, dangerous, or manipulative, when in fact they are none of the above. Similarly, and unfortunately in direct contrast, an actually selfish manipulator can gaslight someone with relatively high stress tolerance into thinking the manipulator is somehow being victimised by them.

Being aware of your own stress tolerance, whether you sort by self or others, and where you fit in the general hierarchy of humanity on those traits is a useful beginning, however, until you are able to also know what those parameters are for others is when you can begin to have meaningful successful relationships.

It is by no means an easy skill to master or even become aware of, but most interpersonal relationships, whether intimate, or work, or friendship related, will play out on those axis at a fundamental level. Other aspects, like mutual respect, mannerisms, quirks etc also obviously play their part, but the underground foundation of the entire edifice is based on these concepts of biology, means, ends and sorting by self or others.

I hope this is useful to some of you.

But Not Samurai

Vox was commenting on the recent merger of things I could not care less about, two golfing organisations, PGA and LIV and predicting that LIV football (calcio) would be next , because LIV is backed by Saudi Oil money.

He ended the post with this:

Whenever money or power become central, the richest and the most ruthless are guaranteed control. Keep that in mind when you set your own priorities.

Which is perfectly true.

There is a however though.

The richest can buy almost all the power.

Almost.

And the powerful can monopolise almost all violence.

Almost.

But there are some men, few, it is true, and a lot fewer these days proportionally speaking, than say at the time of classical Greece or Rome, or feudal Japan, or the Catholic barons and knights of only a few centuries ago, that cannot be bought, and that are very hard to kill even when you have overwhelming firepower.

The classic version is the noble Samurai or the fearless Spartan.

Less classic and generally less liked, is the jihadi martyr willing to make himself into a human firework.

They are not confined to one nationality, ethnicity, race, age or religion.

And while —if and when they act against the most ruthless and wealthy— they are unlikely to survive, the damage they can do is considerable.

And if so much as five such men got together and agreed on a course of action, with their leader being the unquestionable decision maker, there is not a wealthy and powerful tyrant on the planet that doesn’t shiver in fear at the thought of it.

Furthermore, my more than half century on this Earth, has shown me beyond doubt, that you can’t predict very well at all who might turn out to be a secret samurai.

The Glorious Library of Hate

A while back, there used to be a WordPress site called LIBRARYOFHATE.WORDPRESS.COM It contained some pretty interesting information, backed up by links to studies and evidence, in most of the topics I ever took a look at.

Today, that address leads you to a sad, empty space with nothing in it.

Luckily, however, the internet is forever, and the site is archived. And maybe some of you want to mirror it and save local copies for future archeologists interested in our social chaos.

This is just the chapter headings, and like I said, every title has a link and most links are fairly well-referenced. Some may no longer work, but then again, you can search for them in the archive too I guess.

Word of warning: Make sure you have a strong, and empty stomach. A plastic sheeting over your desk and keyboard may also be a good idea. Or at least, have a vomit bucket at the ready.
