Your Pain is a Selfish Indulgence. A Christmas Thought.

This is not gonna make me any friends, especially in the female realm, but luckily, I have never cared about my popularity, nor, more often, my infamy.

First a few premises.

1. If you are Biblically inclined, this concept is most clearly expressed in the story of Lot, or rather of his wife, which is not named in the Bible.

2. This concept I will be explaining will be more readily understood by:

A) people who can do logic.

B) people who know at the core of their being that there is an afterlife.

3. It affects women more than men (hence why it is Lot’s wife that turns to a pillar of salt.)

In short, effeminate men, unbelievers, the rhetoric driven zombies, women, small children, and domestic animals, are unlikely to even understand, never mind agree.

There are also a couple of important points to keep on mind:

1. This is NOT theory. It is as dialectical as engineering. If you build crappy foundations, ignore tolerances and safety margins, your building or bridge will collapse. The point of this post is a simple objective fact, demonstrable and observable by anyone who cares to do so dispassionately and objectively. How you feel about it is completely irrelevant. It is literally no different if you got upset at the fact that 2+2 equals 4.

2. On a personal level, I am not just whistling dixie, or expressing some nice, neat theory I might have come up with or read somewhere as an exercise in intellectual aesthetics. I have lived this point personally and in a very real way and can attest, precisely because of it, to the accuracy of what is explained below.

3. The below applies somewhat less to people who are on their own, have no dependants or close family living with them and so on, however, note I said somewhat less. Not that it doesn’t apply, or that the theory is different for them, or that there are any different rules for them. I am merely saying that for the single/isolated person, their sin of selfishness is somewhat attenuated because the effects of it are more limited in scope. That is, they affect primarily the person themselves and not so many others around them.

On these notes then, we are ready to understand how and when your pain is simply and mostly a totally selfish indulgence.

One last point: I will be using an extreme example so as to make the point clearer and more obvious, but in essence, this is simply a matter of degree of emotional intensity. The rules of math are the same, regardless of the size of the numbers you are dealing with, and that’s the same here.

Here is the example then.

Let’s assume that you have a family with six small(ish) children, and the unthinkable tragedy happens that one of them dies.

It is a horrific though, one no parent wants to indulge even for a moment, but that is precisely why I am using it. Few things could be worse in life than such an event.

Now, it is absolutely normal that there is a period of shock, of rage, mourning and so on. And of course much of this depends on the exact circumstances too. But let us suppose it was simply an unavoidable accident with literally no one to blame.

How should such a parent, afflicted by such a tragedy conduct themselves going forward?

Let’s look at the options:

1. Irretrievably and permanently damaged and morose, depressed, unable to really enjoy anything anymore due to the shadowy ghost of their dead child being permanently in their mental and emotional orbit.

2. Pretend that you are not affected as much as possible externally, but really living pretty much as 1 above internally.

3. Mourn, then simply get on with your life, focussing on the good and your existing children and spouse and genuinely “get over it”. Be able to be happy and joyful and pleasant for your remaining children and spouse to interact with you.

Clearly, anyone sane, will say the best option is number 3. And rightly so, because this causes the maximum good to the most people.

But here come the screaming banshees and faggots “how could you… how dare you… no parent can… any mother would… any father would…” blah, blah, blah, whine, whine, and whine.

Why? Because UPPERMOST in those railing against me is NOT what is best for everyone else. These people are emotionally, selfishly, attached to their need to feel bad. And fuck who else that hurts. Their own personal need to feel pain, guilt, shame, sadness, despair and whatever other long list of negative emotions, is more important to them than stopping, calculating what is best, and then acting accordingly.

It’s bad enough if these people are doing that primarily on an internal, self-absorbed, self-referential level. But, of course, some drama queens actually also consider the outside world and their pathological need to be seen to be suffering.

And, make no mistake, society expects and wants you to feel miserable and bad forever and ever.

Because it’s all show. For the monkeys I find myself surrounded by on this planet, the most important thing for them, more often than not, is very much how they think everyone else thinks of them. In reality very few of them think anything at all, because they are always simply worrying about what everyone thinks of them too! And even when they criticise someone else, it is —almost invariably— simply because they think it will put them in a better light with everyone else.

But even if we leave aside these common, garden variety, monkey-narcissuses, and we look only at those who genuinely don’t care about the outside world very much but nevertheless wallow in their own misery and self-pity, even if it were only in the privacy of their own life as a single person, what are they doing?

What are they doing to themselves and to everyone that comes into contact with them?

In short, they are putting out there, a mild form of toxic poison laced with fear and despair.

Now, it is, of course, also possible to have the very real and opposite narcissist. Someone that psychotically, genuinely doesn’t care if a couple of their children drop dead. Such creatures exist too, though I hope they are rare (and even a few of them is a few too many). But we are not talking about them. We’re talking about the average person.

After a relatively short time of mourning, the ONLY answer that makes sense is to GENUINELY wake up as happy as possible and continue to GENUINELY go through your day with a sense of the divine, the graceful, the grateful and the joyful within you.

You can’t fake it, though you might feel it’s forced for a time, and it may be. But in time, it is your absolute duty, if you are any kind of half-decent husband, or wife, or parent, to make it real.

Do you really think your own personal wound is less if you do this?

Do you really think you “forget” a child of yours?

I assure you, you don’t forget, and your pain is not less. But your experience of it, and more importantly the experience of all those around you that you might care about and especially that care about you, can be extremely different and a lot better than the alternative.

“I can’t control what I feel!” Shout all the women in chorus. Stridently. Loudly. Whiningly.

Yes. Yes you can. Because if you absolutely knew you were going to be tortured to death by being chopped into little pieces over the next month, and so would all your remaining loved ones, guess what: you would change your mood there and then if the threat was absolutely real.

Yes, in a few pathological cases even then, they might not, and would condemn both themselves AND their loved ones to a horrific and drawn out death. And I ask you: are such people sane? Are they good? Or are they either brain damaged unfortunates, or, far more likely, absolutely so attached to wanting to feel what they think is most appropriate that they would let the world burn rather than admit that they, and their emotions, are not the center of the universe?

As my grandfather used to say:

Maths is not an opinion.

So: to all you sad people that had sad and tragic things happen to you. Let it go. Get up. Don’t worry, you’ll die soon enough. You’ll have your time before God to answer for all your sins and errors. Don’t worry, your life, at some point, absolutely will end.

So let it be; let it be then.

And get off your lazy, selfish ass, now, and LIVE.

“Oh but it’s so hard…”

Yes. It is. Which is precisely why I said lazy and selfish. Not just selfish.

To round off the Biblical tale:

Do you KNOW why Lot’s life turned to a pillar of salt? Because looking back to the past, or the unavoidable, and focussing on that instead of the road directly in front of you, can only end in an infinite amount of tears. And when the liquid of tears evaporates, all that is left, is a pillar of salt.

So don’t be Lot’s wife.

Get up. Smile. Look at the sunrise, and the sunset, and the other small children, and friends, and your wife, your husband, your loved ones, and be grateful, and feel joy. Serenity, peace. Even as it flows over the open cut in the depths of your heart.

Because anything less is a cowardly sin born of sloth, pride and ego.

And should any judge you or gossip against you, because of you doing the correct thing, know then, they are not people worth bothering with. At all.

Have a loving and lovely Christmas, and remember what it is about and Who did what for you, without feeling sorry for Himself.

And how.

Thank you Lord, for all you have done and given to us and all you continue to do and give to us, and for your mercy on us, though we are all, miserable sinners.

How to calm your nerves

You might think this is nonsense, the ramblings of a zealot, or just plain stupid. But what have you got to lose? Other than your anxiety I mean?

Try it.

Say it out loud if you can, repeat it in your head if you can’t. Keep repeating the words below again and again and again. If you do it while walking, that’s even better.

Áve María, grátia pléna,
Dóminus técum.
Benedícta tu in muliéribus,
et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus
Sáncta María, Máter Déi,
óra pro nóbis peccatóribus,
nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae.

Amen

No, you don’t need to know the meaning of the words.

No, you don’t need to know it in English.

Just say it. Again, and again and again.

And see how it calms you down.

Belief in Jesus

This is going to be pure dialectic logic, so I am going to guess it will appeal to about three Russian hackers and some Chinese bots trying to sell fake viagra. Nevertheless, as the genetic serum has shown, the most important observations are often ignored by the bovine masses; such is life on the planet under the dominion of the father of lies.

1. Regardless of whether you believe in Christianity or not, it is undeniable that the civilisation built by those who did, surpasses any other civilisation in terms of justice for all, beauty, safety, technological advancement that is primarily beneficial instead of disruptive, protection of women and children and so on.

2. Of course that time is now behind us and we are living in the collapsed and collapsing skeleton of what had been built by those who DID believe in Jesus Christ.

3. Logically, we can attribute the advancement from brutal paganism to civilised Christianity overwhelmingly to Catholicism. Ahistorical ignorants, genetically unviable atheists, brainwashed Protestants or Muslims aside, this is an objective, observable fact. While there may have been pockets of relative stability, none of them were self-sustaining over two millennia, or expanding. Examples could be the Tibetan Buddhists, who survived by isolating themselves from the world and becoming pacifists after having killed off all competitors in their part of the world. To a certain extent the same could be said of the Japanese. These were viable civilisations as long as they remained insulated from the rest of the world. Clearly an unsustainable long-term situation. The so-called Eastern “Orthodox” fared better as long as they remained in the fold of Catholicism, but after their schism became insular, defeated by muslims repeatedly, and perennially traitorous to their Catholic saviours. Later of course they lost all apostolic legitimacy when under various political rulers they had their metropolitans appointed by the various stasi equivalents in their countries. The point remains that from the secret converts in Japan —where catholic missionaries were being crucified and boiled alive in oil— to the civilising of the mass-murdering cannibals of the Americas, it was Catholics spreading the gospel, civilising the world and making thing better for everyone on the largest scale ever seen in the entire history of humanity.

4. Did these Catholics follow a set of rules? Yes they did. It was a complicated set and the rules were spread out over almost two millennia, but priests were dedicated to learn this code and instruct their parishioners in it. And they did so mostly well. Were there corrupt, unethical priests present in their midst? Of course. Always has been the case. Because humans, but the point is that despite this, the actual rules of the Church —if actually followed— created, invariably, the best civilisation that humanity has ever seen. The people teaching the rules (priests) and sometimes even the ultimate authority of the interpretation of these rules (Popes) could and at times were, indeed unethical, deviant, even degenerate, however, miraculously, supernaturally, even the corrupt Popes, which were nevertheless valid Popes, did not alter the rules. Those who did or tried to were relegated to the infamy of being antipopes and of over 250 popes or so more than 40 were declared antipopes (this is before the current era of antipopes, unbroken since 1958). This objective, observable fact too is frankly, as stated, and as recognised by the Church herself, a miracle. No other human institution has survived anywhere near as long, so something must be taking place here. And, for Catholics, of course, it is: Jesus told us He would be with the Church until End Times, which means His Church would be, must be, can only be, infallible. Despite corrupt priests. Despite fake “Popes”. Despite attacks of all kinds from gnostics, atheists, impostors, satanists, freemasons, heretics, pagans, avaricious emperors and kings, murderous and traitorous schismatics, infiltrating communists, pedophiles and homosexuals, and all other enemies, the rules of the Church remain pristine, infallible. And if followed, these rules lead to communities of happy, safe, balanced, strong, human beings, happy wives, married to happy husbands, each content in their role as respected and cherished home-maker and respected and cherished protector and provider.

5. Given the four premises above, it follows therefore, that even if you do NOT believe in Jesus Christ, if you were a logical thinking person, aware of history and aware of said rules, you would still apply them and follow them. Not some personal deviation from them, since EVERY attempt —and indeed every “success”— in doing so has led to invariable degradation of society and all that goes with it. So not your interpretation of them, but the rules themselves.

So what are these rules? In 1904 Pope Pious X, realising that the infiltration into the Church was already well advanced, commissioned the Code of Canon Law, which encompassed all the rules from all the Papal encyclicals, doctors of the Church, Biblical commentaries and so on.

More than 14,000 documents were examined to ensure that there was no contradictions between the documents and that the rules embodied in the final code would all logically interlace seamlessly with each other. Pope Pious X died before this work was completed, but Pope Benedict the XV completed it and in 1917 it was promulgated. After this, commentary from clergy and academics was encouraged and reviewed by a board of cardinals that would ensure to reply and check that no discrepancy or contradiction or misinterpretation of the rules would sneak in. In this process some 26,000 further documents were examined and as a result the total changes made to the Code of canon law of 1917 from 1917 to 1958 was precisely one. A minor change to code 1099 part 2. Made by Pope Pious XII himself, the last valid Pope from 1958 to the present day.

The point here is that the Code of Canon Law of 1917 is the most vetted document ever created and has stood the test of time unaltered. Which makes sense since it is the distillation of 2000 years of Church doctrine as interpreted and codified by the INFALLIBLE magisterium of the Church. And it is infallible NOT because of any human beings, but because Jesus presides over it.

Some Logical Conclusions

Therefore we can arrive at some sound logical conclusions:

1. The best system for humans ever devised on Earth is Catholicism. The evidence for this is overwhelming throughout history, be it in law, justice, art, beauty, science or really any other human endeavour.

2. The rules for this system are all codified and tested over two millennia.

3. The best civilisation ever created was done by Catholics who believed in Jesus Christ to the point that they would chose death over denouncing Him.

4. The Catholic Church was gradually infiltrated and perverted for some 200 years and more, culminating —after the intentional destruction of all European Royal Houses at the behest of mostly Jewish/Freemasonic plots— in the installing into the Papacy, actual freemasons and Satanists and thus converting or exposing all the “clergy” that went along with Vatican II for the satanists, freemasons, heretics, pedophiles and homosexual that they are.

5. Regardless of the fact that what used to be the Catholic Church is now a hive of impostors, satanists and child rapists, the rules still apply and are still the best system ever devised, because it is devised by God and not man. Furthermore, there ARE still actual valid priests and Bishops as well as laymen and women living by these rules, they are sedevacantists, the only real Catholics left. Any objective analysis of the facts will conclude this too, and I have laid out all the possible objections in my book, Reclaiming the Catholic Church.

6. Finally, all the Churchians, whatever their denomination of heresy, have never even approached a small fraction of the fruits of what Catholicism has created. And they can bleat and whine and rant as much as they want, but this too is an undeniable, observable fact. In fact Protestantism’s only “fruits” have been the secularisation of Christianity, the splintering into 40,000 factions of heretics, and worst of all the introduction of contraception, divorce, and finally abortion. That is what happens when you secularise Catholicism.

Final Conclusions

Whether you like it or not, the best humanity has had to offer was created by men who followed the rules of the Catholic Church and who believed in Jesus Christ to the point they would die rather than deny that Christ is King.

Which leaves a simple question or two:

1. If you are not one of those men, who are you?

2. If you do not follow those rules, whatever you are, your progeny, if you will even have one, will be smaller and in any case amount to nothing much and certainly will not create anything lasting and durable in the centuries.

3. Why then, other than pride, would you not take the time to study that Canon Law and take part in becoming a proper Catholic, with all that follows? Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Mass, Confession, Marriage, Last Rites, and for those so inclined, Holy Orders. Not to mention large families, because contraception is evil and defies the very purpose of marriage. Large families of unvaxxed, self-sufficient communities of sedevacantists. They are beginning to form in embryonic efforts dotted around the globe. Start one too. Or find one and join it. Find a wife or a husband, get married, go to mass, make children. Stock up on food and weapons too and train in their use. Eventually these communities will reshape the borders, landscape and politics of those areas that resist the coming evil of the next years and decades. And eventually, we will overcome the satanists and their puppets, and civilise the world again.

Remember: pride is the capital sin.

Stop being proud, follow reason, history and truth.

Being a “Jesus follower” isn’t gonna do it. Human beings need rules, and you have been provided with a set that is infallible and has stood the test of time, despite all human failings. Get it. Use it. Learn. Win.

The single biggest weakness of Western Men

If there is a silver bullet for the Western male, it is this one single weakness.

The weakness manifests in a variety of ways but is really always the same one playing out in apparently different ways but the root of the problem is always the same one.

I’m going to tell you what it is in one sentence. That’s it. One sentence. The problem is you will not believe it. Worse, you will almost NEVER act on it. Even if you grudgingly recognise it’s absolute truth, you will complacently assume it doesn’t apply to you. Sure, maybe everyone else is fooled, but not you. Nah, never you.

I have bad news. It’s you. You specifically. You reading this right now. No it’s not hyperbole. You’re the problem. You specifically and individually. How do I know? Because I have an IQ that in the most optimistic of cases is one in 10,000 and by some other standards it is one in quite a bit more than that. And yet… I too succumbed to it. More than once. And throughout my life, several times.

So it’s a sure bet you have fallen to it too. It doesn’t matter how smart or well educated you think you are. In fact, the more formal education you have had the more you are certain to be prey of this specific weakness.

That’s not my opinion, it’s a demonstrable statistical fact borne out throughout recorded history. Anyway, enough with the prologue. You ready? Here is the single biggest weakness you have:

Your unwillingness to see, understand and accept that the enemy ALWAYS plays both sides of the coin. ALWAYS. No exceptions.

Ah but, but… NO!

Shut the fuck up and LISTEN.

Why do you think I try to expose fake Catholics like Milo, Emo Jones, Tay-Tay Marshall, Michelle Voris, Padre Peregrino, Don Minutella, Bergoglio and his retinue of pedophiles and on and on and on?

Why do you think Trump or Putin or Ron Paul, or, or, or, is gonna save you?

Why do you think the whole Q phenomenon is now known as Qtards?

Why do you think Ye24 and the Groypers and America First and Tulsi Gabbard, Giorgia Meloni, the fake obese “homesteader” Owen Benjamin, and, and, and, and is ALL bullshit?

“Buh… buh… it’s not… see my governor/mayor/fake priest/local conman…is really…”

No. He is not. She is not.

It’s the morale stupid.

They give you a little false hope so you will not revolt (in case the stupidification of TV, medication of big pharma, institutionalised brainwashing and reduction of attention span of big tech, feminisation, faggotisation and trannyfication of society at large somehow didn’t get you yet).

But in reality, whether the grifters are doing it for the grift, the satanist doing it for their lord and master and secular power before they burn, the greedy and power-hungry politicians doing it too but too stupid to know who their master is, the idealist idiots believing in it because they can’t imagine the level of dishonesty, evil and degeneracy that the enemy has, the churchians because they really have no idea how serious and precise Jesus was when he called them the Synagogue of Satan, or whatever other lie you tell yourself to give yourself a little hope that SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, is going to fix things and save you, the reality is NO ONE is coming to save you. Most likely that includes your immediate family and your best friends. And the last three years have demonstrated that in spades.

Sad? Sure.

Tragic. Sure.

A reason to despair and take Turd-eau (Shitwater up there in Canada) up on his assisted suicide? Fuck No!

Absolutely not.

It’s time for you to get medieval.

Read up on the crusades.

Read up on the knights of Malta.

Learn some real history.

And prepare. Store up food, ammo and if you can, land. Breed and make many, many, children of your own ethnicity and culture. Move if you have to. Surround yourself with as many of your own kind and mentality as you can. Prepare for War, wherever you are, because as the old series of SF short stories used to known as, the one constant certainty throughout human history is this: THERE WILL BE WAR.

And it would be a good idea for you to learn REAL CATHOLICISM, and why the motto of the publication they put out is Nec Spe, Nec Metu.

Without Hope, Without Fear.

Which is far from a despairing attitude. It is the attitude of warriors that do not fear anything, including death, and as such have no need for hope, nor any fear, because Catholics, the real ones, the only ones left, Sedevacantist, are NOT given to a spirit of fear.

You may heretically disagree with me about the One, True, Holy and Apostolic Church, but even so, stranger, you really had best get your shit together and stop thinking anyone will save you.

Save yourself. Be the guy who saves your family and friends. Be the leader. Be the guy. Be the hero. Quietly, strongly, inexorably, inexhaustibly, with no hope, no fear, no spiritual or emotional weakness. Let your spirit always be stronger than your flesh.

I learnt that many years ago in martial arts. Broken, bleeding, scared, injured, exhausted, nothing left in the tank, but even so, if I am awake, if I am breathing, fuck you. Fuck you, I am fighting on.

Be that way. Raise your children with compassion and charity but spell out who the synagogue of satan is to them. Do not permit their brainwashing by the enemy. Teach them to read books over YouTube videos. Teach them weapons and tactics and practical things like plumbing and farming and mechanics and woodwork and steelwork. Teach them ethics and logic (you could do worse than looking at the series on the Trivium on this on Kurgan TV).

And remember: the absolute zealots who reject all the so-called “right wing”, “traditional-whatever” Churchian fakers, you might not like them, they may be too “bigoted” for your tastes. They may be too “antisemitic” for your tastes (because you’re ignorant of real history) or too “racist” for you (yet you fail to give the word a precise definition, if you did, you’d find literally EVERYONE is “racist”. Seriously, noticing differences and making value judgements is how our brains works. Unless you’re brain dead in a coma, you’re racist. You disgusting bigot, you!) They may have a religion you hate or disagree with. But guess what:

If they are unvaxxed and making children, more likely than not, their progeny will write the future. Yours will not, if it even exists.

So learn this: THEY ALWAYS PLAY BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN. ALWAYS.

A really good one on Mary

As you all know by now, I tell everyone that Ann is absolutely wrong about who is Pope (she thinks Ratzi the Nazi is Pope) as well as logically inconsistent about sedevacantism and so on. Just type her name in the search me function on the right sidebar there and you will see I have corrected her multiple times and there really is no response, much less a valid one, to her inconsistency; especially since she practically admits sedevacantism is correct in essence.

Be that as it may, I also think that while her error is genuine, it does come from hubris and pride on her part, which is a bad thing, so with all that noted, and kept in mind, I nevertheless do think this piece she wrote on our blessed Lady Mary is possibly the best one I ever read and MIGHT even be able to explain a few things to retarded Protestants.

I strongly recommend you read it.

Killshot to Jews, Protestants and Atheists

So, I have been meaning to write on this but this guy’s video does an eminently better job than I would.

It probes beyond doubt that ALL the Protestant Bibles are corrupt, unlike the Catholic Bibles.

In fact that is the only gripe I have when he says ALL our Bibles are corrupt. No. All PROTESTANT Bibles are corrupt. The Catholic Bibles have the correct dates and sentences in them.

And of course, who caused the deception?

The usual suspects. And I’m impressed he names them. Enjoy this video, I started it thinking “Oh who cares, I know about the pyramids…” give it a few minutes, and it becomes very interesting indeed.

I can hear the Protestants crying already:

“Well that doesn’t change anything about Catholics worshiping Mary and the saints!”

“The genealogy doesn’t really matter to the central theme…”

Uh-huh. Suuuuure. The fact is, as I have been telling you for years, Protestantism is yet another Jewish deception.

Swallow your prideful ego and accept the bare facts Catholicism is the ONLY Christianity; and Sedevacantists are the ONLY Catholics left.

The enemy only has ONE PLAY.

That is it. One. So would you PLEASE pay attention?!?

The enemy always, always, ALWAYS plays BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN. That’s it.

That is the entirety of his strategy.

American Revolution. Bankers and Freemason’s war. Funded by French money that resulted in the death of their king and queen and created the first freemasonic country in the world. World War I. Bankers and Freemason’s War. Aim was to destroy the remaining royal houses. Why? Because the royal houses were originally assumed to be ruling by God’s divine choice in picking such kings and queens. And the secular arm of the Church Militant is led by nobility, hence royal houses. They couldn’t infiltrate and damage the Church very seriously if not by first removing their bodyguards, so to speak.

World War II. A Banker’s war if ever there was one. Read the three small books of Antony Sutton: Hitler and Wall Street. No one has ever been able to refute anything he wrote.

Vatican II. Jewish, Freemason, Protestant and “Orthodox” assault on the Catholic Church. 16 documents 15 of which are filled with direct heresy and one of which states the other 15 are to be spread across the Earth. The inversion of what used to be the Catholic Church.

Left vs. Right. That’s it. Argue about whether you should be ok with LGBTPedo nonsense in primary schools or just in highschool. In pride parades or just in gay “marriage”.

Republicans or Democrats. Labour or Tory. Blah, blah, blah.

Don’t you get it yet?

All the fake “Catholics” pretending to be critical of Bergoglio and very “traditional”, are ALL fake and gay. Milo the Freemason. Nikky Fuentes the gay latino. Ye the black American black Hebrew now oh so scandalous “antisemite”.

America First. Maga hats. Hillary and Bill.

Do you not get it yet?

They literally told everyone over 200 years ago that their ploy is to always control both sides and win either way.

Why do you think the thugs that are government get together and decide what “laws” YOU need to live by that they are exempt from?

Why do you think Hillary and Bill are not in jail as the mass murderers they are?

Why do you think Macron the Oedipus complex guy and his cronies forced genetic serums on the French people with a vengeance and yet he himself and his cronies never took it themselves?

Do you not get it yet? You are being PLAYED.

Always.

So stop supporting either “side” make your own side. What are you willing to go to the wall for?

Family? friends? Sure. But it’s not enough. They do divide those. Look at the covid scamdemic. Families split apart.

So what else?

What is the ONE thing they have ALWAYS fought against? Who has ALWAYS called them out?

There is only one answer to that:

The real, One, Holy, Apostolic, Catholic —and in this day and age— Sedevacantist, Church.

Why do you think they spent 300 years meticulously planning its assault and infiltration with communists, pedophiles, freemasons and deceivers? (Don’t take my word for it, their own repentant servants admitted it. See Bella Dodd, see L’eletta del Dragone, and others) Why do you think they don’t care at all about any of the 40,000 denominations of Protestantism? Or about the Copts? Or even about the so-called Eastern “Orthodox”?

Why do you think the most pernicious and insidious infiltrations, lies and attacks have always been against the Catholic Church?

Why do you think the Vatican, that hive of pedophile, satanic scum commissioned journalists to write screeds against sedevacantism but not against Lutheranism, which they in fact celebrated? As they did placing a literal statue of Moloch at the colosseum, a stone’s throw from the Vatican?

Why do you think they make overtures of friendly communal “worship” to Jews, Muslims, Protestants and “Orthodox” but react like vampires when shown the cross as soon as sedevacantism is mentioned?

Think. Think, oh my lost, quasi-godless friend.

Think. And if you want to check my work, go ahead, read Believe! Or RTCC, or both and try and find error with anything I wrote. Both books have plenty of references, so it should be easy for you to prove me wrong if I am.

“Oh but I hate the Catholic Church… they can’t be the One because…”

Save it. I was there before you and for most of my life. I despised “Catholicism” with a passion.

Because what I THOUGHT was Catholicism wasn’t.

You don’t KNOW what Catholicism is. You have been lied about it since birth. If you DO find out, WHEN you do, you will become a sedevacantist Catholic.

It requires you are able to reason and do logic and change your mind based on facts though.

And Aristotle told us long ago, such people are the minority.

That’s ok. The Bible tells us we actual Christians are a minority too.

What are you willing to go to the wall for?

I know what I am willing to do it for.

God.

Family.

And if need be, my ORIGINAL country too. Which needs to rise again from the sea, as it does and always did.

What about you, friend?

Are you a Catholic too? Because Jesus was pretty clear about there being only ONE body (Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:4-6; John 17:21; Matthew 16:18; Acts 9:2 and generally the whole of the New Testament) and about there only being TWO sides (Matthew 12:30).

Not 40,001 “bodies” and a multitude of facets of relativity of sides. Much less one that sprung up 1488 years after the resurrection of Christ and some 1100 years after the Bible was put together. And certainly not a “body” that was headed by —or stemmed later from him— a fat German that modified the very Bible he said should be the ONLY reference frame (ignoring the fact that the Bible didn’t exist as one body of work until some 300 years after Christ ascended and was put together by TRADITION) who lusted after nuns and was fond of propagating the idea of raping maids if wives were not ready to put out, and who called reason, literally, “the whore of the devil”.

And you see, you really need to have been raised in that sort of confused chaotic mess of Protestant confusion and “indivi-duh-al choice” to not see the fact that the enemies of God only have ONE play.

One. That’s it. And it is always the same. Control both narratives.

When you see it, it becomes impossible to unsee.

And then if you look a little harder, study a little more, you’ll find there is a group of people who do NOT yield. They do NOT falter. They stick together even when they have different ideas, different personalities, different approaches to life.

Sedevacantists.

They have ONE Holy Mass. In Latin. As it has been since the beginning.

One set of rules, written down so it can’t be argued and changed and opined on. The Code of Canon Law of 1917, which is the most vetted document on Earth, since 26,000 documents that spanned two millennia were examined in order to produce it and ensure no rules of the Catholic Church were ever contradicted or invalidated each other. A document which has remained unchanged even after 40 years of review by clergy except for one tiny modification to one part of one code, by Pope Pious XII himself.

We have a serious, dignified process of worship, where Jesus Christ and His sacrifice is central, not us, not the priest. Him. And we bend our knee. No spinning dervishes, Jesus is my boyfriend rock songs, no LGBT flags anywhere, and our priests call out the heresy, the lies the fake clergy and the fake Popes with aplomb and regularity.

And we have reason. And logic. And Faith. And the willingness to fight whatever fight comes our way. As our ancestors did every time they were called to, and defended Christendom against all intruders.

Which is why even laymen among us will call out the fake clergy pretending to be Catholic. Because it is the duty of every Catholic to point out heretics, impostors, satanists and the enemy, wherever we see them.

Life is difficult to process and it’s hard to know who or how to fight when you either think there are many sides or are not even aware if there are sides. Life is really a lot easier when you know you are either a Catholic and thus a Christian. Or you are not.

Oh I know. It offends your liberal sensibilities. How arrogant eh? Either you are Catholic or you are not even a Christian. How dare I, eh?

Yeah. Either 2 plus 2 is 4, or you can’t do math.

How arrogant eh?

How divisive. How non-inclusive.

What lack of diversity and transgenderism! How dare I?

Right. How much sewage would you like in your ice cream, along with your false Churchianity, sir?

The truth might hurt your delicate ego, but it’s NOT hard to see. Not hard to understand. The only thing standing in your way are the lies you have been raised with, and your own ego.

The choice is yours. Either see, believe and accept the truth, and refuse to play the enemy’s game, or keep on believing whichever side of their two-card monty you have set yourself on. And lose every time.

They only have ONE play. That’s it.

And all you need to do to win is see it. And choose.

Oh yeah, and fight. But that will come naturally once you see the unvarnished, real, truth.

Ann Barnhardt knocks one out of the park. Again.

As those of you who follow my blog or use the search me button on the right and type in her name, I have certainly criticised Ann; for not being logically consistent and seeing that sedevacantism is the ONLY remnant of the Church left.

I have never denied, however, that I fully believe her faith is genuine (misguided though it is). That she honestly is doing the best she can to be a good Catholic. And if she ever becomes one, by abandoning the Novus Orco fake masses and fake clergy, she will, undoubtedly, make a spectacularly better Catholic than I ever will.

Sadly, I think she is too obstinate and I think not a little egocentrical (unconsciously for the most part) to ever admit her error and become a proper Catholic. If she did though… well… that would be glorious. She could potentially be the tipping point that gets the whole Church to rise up again.

In any case, in this post of hers here, she has written a semi-prophetic post. It really is required reading, you should absolutely read it.

My only question (rhetorical for me, but perhaps not for thee) is:

Ok, so how do we fight back? What’s your idea?

I know, of course, that certain topics are absolutely verbotten even just on a throwaway account on a very cheap phone you bought for cash. But I’d certainly love to know how Ann would like us all to fight back.

And I don’t mean that sarcastically or facetiously at all. I am genuinely interested.

Ann, after all, is a lady with quite an extraordinary mind on her. She might just have some idea (beyond the obvious ones) that might affect things in a big way; and might be able to do it without rivers of blood. So come Ann, if you’re ever gonna read this, let us know.

Milo’s Fall and Imminent Freefallin’

So… those of you who may have kept up on Milo’s telegram followers may recall that towards the end of September he was down to barely above 26k and later it dropped below that to 25k something.

After that he started to be a bit more “active again” with his usual “edgy” non-catholic, gay, fame whoring ways, and then he clearly got a prod from his handlers and wrote a long screed on DeSantis and, of course, coincidentally, has apparently also been seen in the vicinity of Ye.

Whether it was related to media attention whoring, or trying to distract Ye from noticing the Jew, as he has been doing rather spectacularly of late, possibly by offering Ye to overpower and abuse a “white” Jew like himself, in the way Milo has a predilection for being “overpowered” by his African tops, is unknown.

But in any event, his followers went spectacularly, in a few days, from 25k something to over 28k something. It was as if the best 3000 Chinese-bot farm followers money can buy suddenly appeared!

And then… the decline continued. From 28k plus a few days ago, to barely above 27k today, and he’s back to just his usual crass and casual blasphemy.

It is therefore, little wonder that he has just announced he will go back to twitter, where the bot farms will be far more stable now that they will be handled by pretend free-speech “enthusiast” (but not so muuuch), and “not a leftie at all even though I literally repeat whatever the WEF says”, and “not a satanic freemason at all even though I literally wore a costume as the devil’s champion”, Brother Elon.

Milo is simply now circling the drain of the typical has-been, flamboyant, gay, “icon” turned middle-aged man with the shadow of his fatness stalking him.

He did flame-out, but only to return so he could fade away with ever-shrinking little bursts of blasphemy and acidic bitterness.

500 Years Without Reason

The following exchange from SocialGalactic is a perfect example of the kind of functional brain damage Protestantism results in. Though this long post covers far more than just Protestantism, as I hope those of you who read it might appreciate.

While this doesn’t put poor SirHamster in a good light, the point here is not to single him out specifically, but rather to note what the underlying assumptions have to be for someone to think this way and be so persistently obtuse about something that is pretty much within the grasp of any normal, logical, child, aged 6 or 7 or more.

The entire exchange is below where I preserved the format of quoting each other in red text.

SirHamster’s initial comment is a partial quote and “criticism” of my blog post here.

And so it begins:

SirHamster

the idea is terrifying, which is why I purposely try to keep it out of my head, in effect, racking up a debt I am totally unfit to pay and the consequences of which are too horrific to contemplate, and I do this, not for any temporal joy in the here and now, but rather, for the good of all that might come after me.

That doesn’t sound like a good idea though.

And not rather (as we are slandered, and as some affirm that we say) let us do evil, that there may come good? whose damnation is just.

Kurgan

I smh.
@sirhamster your baseline protestantism probably cannot even begin to process my post in the correct manner.

Protestantism is essentially a binary thinking process at many, many, many, levels down.

Catholicism is not.
Because reality is not binary either in many respects.

For example:

Where the crusades necessary and overall a good thing? Yes.

Did crusaders kill people? Yes.

Was it required that they kill people for the greater good? Yes.

Is killing still a sub-optimal thing, regardless of the just and necessary reasons it might be required? Also yes.
Do sub-optimal things have a cost? Yes.

Understand?

SirHamster

Is killing still a sub-optimal thing, regardless of the just and necessary reasons it might be required?

You aren’t going to purgatory to suffer for “sub-optimal” behavior. Call a spade a spade.

Understand?

What I’m wondering is why you are advocating to do things that your conscience is too horrified to contemplate the true cost of.

Consider that a sign that you should not do it. I know I’m a blasted reason-hating Protestant and all, but I would think reason would pay heed to the warning light.

Kurgan

You aren’t going to purgatory to suffer for “sub-optimal” behavior. Call a spade a spade.

You really don’t know anything about Catholicism at all do you?

And the answer is yes. That is precisely what you go to purgatory for. Literally almost everyone does.

SirHamster

Call a spade a spade. Sin is sin. Optimization is related but not equivalent.

“You didn’t cook your steak optimally! Go to purgatory!” is absurdity.

When vocabulary is selected to dilute the meaning, that’s a yellow flag. Follow-up clarifies if this is a matter of wrong choice of words for communication of ideas, or intentional obfuscation to deceive.

Kurgan

Your binary thinking is noted.

As is your abysmal ignorance of Catholicism. And your grasp of language is definitely sub-optimal too. Not to mention logic, since your analogy of killing other humans, in your head is cooking a steak badly.

Seriously. If that is your grasp of this, there is zero point in discussing anything further.

SirHamster

Not to mention logic, since your analogy of killing other humans, in your head is cooking a steak badly.

That’s what the precision of “sub-optimal” covers.

Killing the body of a person made in God’s image is a lot more than just “sub-optimal”. Your choice of obfuscating language. Look, you end up in purgatory because of sin.

As is your abysmal ignorance of Catholicism.

I’m not the one turning off my reason because of terror and horror at the expected consequences of my own decisions.

SirHamster

If you’re serious about the expected spiritual results in purgatory for certain decisions, you should spend a lot less time glamorizing it as an awesome warrior thing to do that gets the job done.

Kurgan

Look, you are obviously terribly ignorant of Catholicism, you have literally zero understanding of what Catholics believe about purgatory and you are making completely idiotic binary assumptions about it based on your blinkered, limited, and wholly erroneous understanding of it.

Literally EVERYONE goes to purgatory with the exception of MAYBE some awesome saints that MIGHT go straight to heaven. Some of us will spend longer there because we take on unpleasant tasks. Just like someone who works in a sewer all day might take a longer shower than someone who works in a sterile environment building microchips.

You simply don’t have the baseline grasp of the concepts here and are speaking ignorantly out of turn. And not intelligently about it either.
You’re so wrong you’re not even addressing what you think you are, because you’re a couple of categories out from the target you think you’re shooting at.

Go read some KJV and feel better or something.

SirHamster

Some of us will spend longer there because we take on unpleasant tasks.

Again, this is spending more time in there because of your decisions. And you talk about the emotions of terror and horror shutting down your reasoned contemplation of the consequences of your decisions.

Does God give you more time in purgatory for doing the right thing?

Does God give some people dirty jobs and then punish them with more purgatory time for doing the job He assigned?

SirHamster

Just like someone who works in a sewer all day might take a longer shower than someone who works in a sterile environment building microchips.

Then don’t be terrified and horrified about taking a hellishly hot shower after your earthly life to cleanse your soul. It’s just a shower, dude.

There’s some incongruence here between different parts of the position(s) you’re taking.

If calling me a binary thinker is sufficient for you to feel good about it, have at it. But it doesn’t persuade my reason.

And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, the effect of five centuries of stunted logic and reason on the human mind. The effect of “believing” –that is, of being indoctrinated– in a binary, Calvinistic, two-dimensional, “God”.

Why, it almost sounds like the way a drunk fat German might “think” when he’s well into his cups. If you find yourself in any way persuaded by SirHamster’s “argument” I can practically guarantee two things:

1. You have literally zero knowledge or understanding of basic Catholic dogma.

2. You have a very limited ability to grasp the beauty, depth, width, truth and reality of God. Ultimately, of course, we all do, we all see through a glass darkly, but such an endemic lacuna of capability can only be the result of stunted intellectual growth, and it usually happens only with atheists, who we know are genetic misfits, or with what are essentially long-term abuses of the mind by idiotic, limited and ultimately crippling ideologies, like Islam or Protestantism. Yes, we all see through a glass darkly, but Protestantism is a welder’s face mask with some coal rubbed onto it from both sides. It only allows the simplest and brightest of light or darkness through, and as a result, the ultimate overview is invariably limited and bleak. Sincere though it might be in its error, it remains in vast error nonetheless.

Allow me then, to try to explain, as best I can, and in small steps, so that, with any luck and divine grace, perhaps one Protestant somewhere might begin to see at least a little colour into their abysmally lacking vision of “God”. It is probably a hyperoptimistic goal, but after all, we are instructed to at least try.

Titles in red bold indicate the start of a new concept. The ones in black bold are sub-concepts.

What is Purgatory?

It is a place where basically ALL of your impurities are pretty literally “burnt out of you”.

But… but… is it B-B-buh-Biblical?!

It is, of course, fully Biblical, so even the retarded concept of “sola scriptura”, should have no issue with purgatory, but as Catholics well-know, Protestants don’t actually read their Bibles, and on the rare occasions that they do, their cargo-cultist indoctrination means they have less capacity to comprehend what they read than Muslims do when reading the Koran by rote. Which is logical of course, the Muslims just learn a false teaching, while the Protestants must somehow twist their brains around to falsify a true one.

Here are some Biblical references that clearly and logically indicate that purgatory exists:

Scripture is very clear when it says, “But nothing unclean shall enter [heaven]” (Rev. 21:27). Hab. 1:13 says, “You [God]… are of purer eyes than to behold evil and cannot look on wrong…”

In light of both Revelation and Habakkuk I suppose Protestants believe themselves to perfectly clean, and fit for God to lay eyes directly upon them immediately after physical death of their bodies.

I know, it’s absurd, but as I have always maintained, the main sin of Protestants is pride. Shortly followed by utter sloth of course, which prevents them getting off their fat arses and reading about church history, the patristic fathers from the first 200 years, noting the fact that Popes existed and everyone obeyed the legitimate ones for over a thousand years and on, and on, and on. Pride and sloth. It’s literally a Hell of a way to go through life.

But let us continue…

In II Maccabees 12:39-46, we discover Judas Maccabeus and members of his Jewish military forces collecting the bodies of some fallen comrades who had been killed in battle. When they discovered these men were carrying “sacred tokens of the idols of Jamnia, which the law forbids the Jews to wear” (vs. 40), Judas and his companions discerned they had died as a punishment for sin. Therefore, Judas and his men “turned to prayer beseeching that the sin which had been committed might be wholly blotted out… He also took up a collection… and sent it to Jerusalem to provide for a sin offering. In doing this he acted very well and honorably… Therefore he made atonement for the dead, that they might be delivered from their sin.”

There are usually two immediate objections to the use of this text when talking with Protestants. First, they will dismiss any evidence presented therein because they do not accept the inspiration of Maccabees. And second, they will claim these men in Maccabees committed the sin of idolatry, which would be a mortal sin in Catholic theology. According to the Catholic Church, they would be in Hell where there is no possibility of atonement. Thus, and ironically so, they will say, Purgatory must be eliminated as a possible interpretation of this text if you’re Catholic.

As we well-know, Protestants are ALL about sola scriptura! Only what’s in the Bible please! No matter how retarded the concept is since the Bible itself was put together thanks to preserved written and oral tradition some 300 years after Christ ascended.

And oh yeah, only the Bible, but the one Martin changed ok?! The one he ripped out seven books of, including, you know, all of James because it made his other retarded theory of sola fide look also just as retarded as sola scriptura. And to chink it he literally wanted to add the word “alone” after the sentence “we are justified by faith”.

Yeah. He did. He wanted to actually do that. As if his deletions and subtractions to an already edited version of the Bible (by Pharisees for 700 years) were not enough, he wanted to “add” to it. But you know, according to mental handicapped people like James White, that was probably all “god breathed”, and not, as every actual Christian with two functioning brain cells knows, “Martin farted”. And beer farted at that.

But wait… there is more…

In Matthew 5:24-25, Jesus is even more explicit about Purgatory.

Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison; truly I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny (Matthew 5:25-26).

For Catholics, Tertullian for example, in De Anima 58, written in ca. AD 208, this teaching is parabolic, using the well-known example of “prison” and the necessary penitence it represents, as a metaphor for Purgatorial suffering that will be required for lesser transgressions, represented by the “kodrantes” or “penny” of verse 26. But for many Protestants, our Lord is here giving simple instructions to his followers concerning this life exclusively. This has nothing to do with Purgatory.

This traditional Protestant interpretation is very weak contextually. These verses are found in the midst of the famous “Sermon on the Mount,” where our Lord teaches about heaven (vs. 20), hell (vs. 29-30), and both mortal (vs. 22) and venial sins (vs. 19), in a context that presents “the Kingdom of Heaven” as the ultimate goal (see verses 3-12). Our Lord goes on to say if you do not love your enemies, “what reward have you” (verse 46)? And he makes very clear these “rewards” are not of this world. They are “rewards from your Father who is in heaven” (6:1) or “treasures in heaven” (6:19).

Not convinced yet? Well, you must be a good Protestant then. The brainwashing is strong in this one, master. Might he listen to Your words directly? Let us hope.

From Jesus Himself

I Corinthians 3:11-15 may well be the most straightforward text in all of Sacred Scripture when it comes to Purgatory:

For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble—each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

No Christian sect I know of even attempts to deny this text speaks of the judgment of God where the works of the faithful will be tested after death. It says our works will go through “fire,” figuratively speaking. In Scripture, “fire” is used metaphorically in two ways: as a purifying agent (Mal. 3:2-3; Matt. 3:11; Mark 9:49); and as that which consumes (Matt. 3:12; 2 Thess. 1:7-8). So it is a fitting symbol here for God’s judgment. Some of the “works” represented are being burned up and some are being purified. These works survive or burn according to their essential “quality” (Gr. hopoiov – of what sort).

What is being referred to cannot be heaven because there are imperfections that need to be “burned up” (see again, Rev. 21:27, Hab. 1:13). It cannot be hell because souls are being saved. So what is it? The Protestant calls it “the Judgment” and we Catholics agree. We Catholics simply specify the part of the judgment of the saved where imperfections are purged as “Purgatory.”

Objection!

The Protestant respondent will immediately spotlight the fact that there is no mention, at least explicitly, of “the cleansing of sin” anywhere in the text. There is only the testing of works. The focus is on the rewards believers will receive for their service, not on how their character is cleansed from sin or imperfection. And the believers here watch their works go through the fire, but they escape it!

First, what are sins, but bad or wicked works (see Matthew 7:21-23, John 8:40, Galatians 5:19-21)? If these “works” do not represent sins and imperfections, why would they need to be eliminated? Second, it is impossible for a “work” to be cleansed apart from the human being who performed it. We are, in a certain sense, what we do when it comes to our moral choices. There is no such thing as a “work” floating around somewhere detached from a human being that could be cleansed apart from that human being. The idea of works being separate from persons does not make sense.

Most importantly, however, this idea of “works” being “burned up” apart from the soul that performed the work contradicts the text itself. The text does say the works will be tested by fire, but “if the work survives… he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he shall suffer loss.” And, “he will be saved, but only as through fire” (Gr. dia puros). The truth is: both the works of the individual and the individual will go through the cleansing “fire” described by St. Paul in order that “he” might finally be saved and enter into the joy of the Lord. Sounds an awful lot like Purgatory.

So… yeah. As I said, Protestants don’t read their Bibles. And if they do they have the reading comprehension of a lobotomised lemur on cocaine.

But back to what purgatory is actually like…

As far as I know, even Protestants understand that Hell is, well… hellish, because of the absence of God in pretty much all His forms.

I am sure you have heard the concept that the fires of Hell, which burn more than actual fire, are at least in part, the result of distance from God. The very real knowledge that you are eternally doomed to a place with no mercy, no love, no grace, etcetera is, indeed, terrifying to anyone sane of mind.

Well, purgatory is actually a level of Hell. The only one from which, after sufficient purification, you can escape and go to Heaven.

There are many traditions of various Saints having been shown or having experienced purgatory and being permitted to tell of the experience. And it has been described by almost all of them as an unimaginably painful place to be. Some described a second in there being worse than all the misery of your worldly physical life.

Now, I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty terrifying to me. And again, I think it would do so to anyone normal. So it is only natural that, though we are all sinners to one degree or other, we all hope to spend as little time as possible in there.

So, now that we hopefully have some baseline understanding of Catholic dogma, we come to the “accusations” of SirHaster. Some against me, and some against God, as is ever the way with atheists and heretics. Let us count, note and comment on them.

It is best if we comment on them in a logical order rather than in the haphazard order they may have appeared in the exchange on SG.

1. First his atheist-like lack of understanding about God and our relations to Him:

Does God give you more time in purgatory for doing the right thing?

Obviously not. This should be obvious to anyone, which is his point, and then he follows up with the atheist like nonsense.

Does God give some people dirty jobs and then punish them with more purgatory time for doing the job He assigned?

This is the old “switcheroo” of the atheist. God doesn’t “give us” dirty jobs. Because Calvinism is retarded. We ALWAYS have a choice. That is the whole point. It is not God assigning anything to us. We live in a world of sin because it is under the dominion of Satan.

Given that reality, you will at times be faced with choices that are extremely difficult no matter which you pick.

In my case, I am not martyr material. I am “make the other bastard die for his belief first” material.

Which, between the choice of perfect love and fighting to your last breath for a better state of things here in the temporal world is, as I say, sub-optimal.

The actions of people like St. Ignatius of Antioch are, probably, and certainly in Catholic belief, more perfect than those of say Jean Parisot de Valette. One walked to Rome for a year to be eaten by lions for his faith, the other fired the heads of Muslim prisoners into the camps of the enemy Mohammedans sieging Malta.

Intellectually I know St. Ignatius is a better man than De Valette. I really do. But my heart is not that pure. And here on Earth, I am far more likely to behave like Jean Parisot de Valette. And sub-optimal though that behaviour is, I believe it is still required. It is required by us, humans, here on Earth.

It might not be required by God. His ways are, after all, so far above ours as to be inscrutable.

Perhaps, we would all be better off submitting like St. Ignatius and thereafter, having let our enemies slaughter us and our children like lambs, the second coming would happen sooner and all would be well thereafter. And God might make it all reconciled to itself even on Earth. Sure.

But I am just a mortal man, with no great delusions about my place in the scheme of things, and from my small level of understanding, it seems to me, that if we are not to fight for our loved ones, for truth, justice and beauty also here on Earth, then, are we not cowards? Are we not letting the demons “win” even if only in an earthly sense?

Were the crusades and the fighting against the Moslems at Malta all just so much ado about nothing?

I don’t think so.

And perhaps, that is my error. But I cannot, in good conscience, see it as such. And of course, doing so or not is my choice. Not preordained by God, other than, perhaps, in the type of soul I may have, which may predispose me more towards some errors than others.

And that answers the first part of SirHamster’s false premises:

The choice is indeed mine. It might be an error and I can’t tell, I can only do what I honestly think is best. Fully knowing that my “best” can — and undoubtedly will– result is some error and thus some “punishment”, or, more precisely, purification to be required.

Now let’s look at his more insidious one: why would God punish you more for doing what some of us might think or feel is almost inevitable.

But the fact is God does no such thing.

Purgatory is not a “punishment”. It is a grace.

God allows us into His perfect presence despite our filthy habits, behaviours, erroneous beliefs, and tragic errors.

The process of “removing” these impurities from our being, mind, soul, or whatever parts of us they are embedded into, we experience as terrible pain and suffering; because we are so weak and stupid and wrong, and we are so attached to our errors they are literally embedded in our DNA, and being “stripped” of them, one nerve ending and neurone at a time, feels like Hell. That is why we suffer. Not because God is some sick sadist as the Atheists and the Protestants would have you believe, with their stunted ideology.

It is perfectly logical that a son that is headstrong, wilful, and not evil, but set in his erroneous beliefs, may go against all the warnings of his father not to climb the slippery rock face unaided, or in that particular manner, or even at all. But if the son does it anyway, because he is shaped that way, his soul strives for that peak, against even his own at least intellectual –if not heartfelt– understanding, then, what is a father to do? Assuming the son has reached the age of reason and has heard your warnings and yet still chooses to do it, because some part of him, however in error, yet still deeply a part of him you also love and respect, chooses to climb anyway, would you deny him?

Would you force him not to climb? And stunt that part of him that is perhaps mostly in error, certainly unwise, yet not without justice or love or respect for you, his father? And a part that is certainly, not without a certain (healthy, not egotistical) pride you might feel towards him, your son? Would you then, stop him by force?

If so, then it is you who lives far more in the worldly way than I, because I could not.

And if that son then falls, and breaks a leg badly, and you, as his father have to lift him up, causing him even more pain, in order to put him in your car and driving over miles of bumpy road while his thigh-bone is jutting out of his leg causing him agony at every tiny movement, would you not do it anyway?

Are you responsible and to blame for his choices made in fullness of his adult and informed reason and will and choice?

Or are you just a loving father doing what needs to be done so your son can live?

And in God’s case, live eternally in His presence, not just here on Earth.

Hopefully, if you have understood things up to here, you will, I truly hope, have understood that the Protestant view of God, free will, and Purgatory, is a blinkered, washed out, limited, binary, caricature in 8-bit grayscale.

Which beings us to the far lesser accusation of…

2. My “glorifying” my choices.

He firstly accuses me of turning off my reason:

I’m not the one turning off my reason because of terror and horror at the expected consequences of my own decisions.

Which in his limited and binary thought processes is all he understands when I state that I simply choose to not dwell on the time I will have to spend in purgatory. I do not dwell on it because it is pointless and counter-productive for me to do so. Unlike most people perhaps, by luck, misfortune, fate, or divine grace, I am far more aware than most what my actions and reactions may be given almost any set of extremes. Like that headstrong son, it is not that I do not believe or love my father enough. It is not that “I shut off reason” either, quite the contrary, if I am to succeed at all at climbing that slippery rock-face, I need to concentrate every ounce of reason I may have, in making the smartest moves I can in the climbing of it. For any tiny lack of focus can and probably will result in my falling spectacularly to my doom.

If I let emotions like rage or frustration or fear, take hold of me, I am unlikely to fare well.

Ah, but what about your overall choice of climbing in the first place! You are abandoning reason there!

No, no I am not. And perhaps, if you are a Protestant, you are too damaged by your upbringing to see it. I have explained it above, but let me try once more here too.

Within that mostly unwise, mostly wrong, mostly foolish choice to climb, there is a spark of faith, and truth, and belief in beauty and justice, that is inextinguishable. It will not go out even in the darkest storms and the howling of a million demons at our door.

And above all other qualities I may have or gain in life, I know, with a certainty that is born only of undeniable faith –a faith I always had even when I denied what I thought was “God”– that it is the one tiny part of me, that probably, might, secure my salvation.

It is easy, especially from the outside looking in, or even internally, especially when we are young, to assume or make the mistake of pride in this regard. It may present as such. It may even be wrapped in it in youth. And it is mostly misunderstood by others as pride, but when you get to its core, that tiny but never-extinguishing spark, is of, from, and dedicated wholly to, God. To his Beauty and Power and Truth and Justice. Probably, above all, once you get past even its very core, which is rooted in Justice first and Love second, but beyond it all, right at the center, perhaps, its real driving force, is Beauty.

But there is one last point I want to address, and this is a category error on SirHamster’s part, which is again, the result of stunted theological development and imagination:

3. My supposedly frightened conscience

What I’m wondering is why you are advocating to do things that your conscience is too horrified to contemplate the true cost of.

And therein is perhaps the root category error of it all. My conscience is not horrified at all or in any way by the concept of Purgatory. Quite the contrary, my conscience is perfectly at peace with it.

It is my human, earthly mind, attached to my worldly flesh and sensations, that is terrified at the idea of purgatory and the amount of time I may have to spend in there. My conscience is perfectly at ease. My conscience is fully committed to the concept of the ends justifying the means and the idea of us having to fight here on Earth too, as I have already explained above. It is only my weak, human flesh that is afraid. As is the weak human flesh and sensations of all but the most saintly of saints. But as I have said and know, I am no Saint Ignatius. Nor am I ashamed of saying so. I doubt you are either.

So no, I am not switching off my reason, nor glorifying my choices. Nor is my conscience in turmoil.

Far from it. I am only, in fact, letting those few, who may have souls that are shaped similar to mine, know that our way –though undoubtedly sub-optimal, undoubtedly not the wisest– still, after all, and after all the pain and strife we must inevitably endure for our choices in being this way, is too, loved by God.

We will fall. We will break our bones. We will not listen and be headstrong and we will be called prideful and arrogant or violent and un-pious, or wrong and stupid, or even –laughable as it is when you consider how carefully we reason our way up our chosen slippery rock-faces– that we have abandoned reason.

But know yourself. Know what really drives you. And trust that even God tells us, those of us like that, terrible creatures though we might be, are yet, loved by God.

After all, was David not best loved by God?

And he made it so his friend would be killed just so he could fuck the man’s wife.

I’m fairly sure I’ve not crossed that line, nor am I likely to. For all their bad actions and choices, God still loves such men, and in fact, if memory serves, they are even described as being men “after God’s own heart”.

I’ve always understood that to mean that our passions, though when not well-directed cause endless problems (for which, in purgatory, we will pay) are yet, an indication of a quality that God loves.

And if that is not beauty, what is?
